Our Story

Rooted in Konkan. Made for every home.

Sansaaj began as one family's promise to keep tradition close, even when home is far away.

How it started

A kitchen table in Ratnagiri

Sansaaj started the way most Konkan traditions do — around a kitchen table, watching our grandmother prepare for Ganesh Chaturthi weeks in advance. Durva grass at dawn, marigolds tied by hand, spices ground on stone. When our own family moved to the city, we felt that ritual slip away — not for lack of faith, but for lack of time and access to the real thing.

So we built Sansaaj: a way to bring the same fresh leaves, the same hand-tied flowers, and the same pure Konkan ingredients to any home, anywhere, without losing what makes them sacred.

Today we work directly with over 60 farmers, florists and artisans across the Konkan coast, packing every order the way our grandmother would have — with care, and never a shortcut.

We pay fair prices to the farmers, florists and artisans who make Sansaaj possible.

Respect for Ritual

Every kit is designed with input from priests and family elders, not just a checklist.
